I need to purchase new drive units for my 6100's and wave box. It looks like tunze is offering a replacement drive unit 6100.700. Will this replace the 3000.62 and 6100.60 drive units? Do I need to purchase the 3000.62 bearing bush separately if this part is also needed or does the new drive unit 6100.700 come with this part (or is it required at all anymore)?
It also would appear that the 6100.700 drive unit no longer uses the upper bearing and o-ring. Do I reuse these parts or is the new drive unit just a drop in replacement that does not use the o-ring and upper bearing? Do I pull the o-ring out of the engine block and discard it?
I have older model streams which have the brake shoes ect. I did not see any brake shoes on the newer drive unit are they needed anymore to prevent the drive unit from spinning in the wrong direction?
Any help you could provide would be appreciated. With the cost of replacement parts I do not want to assume I'm ordering the right parts.
