6100 driver is pouring out smoke

This is for roger, today i looked below my tank and my 6100 driver was pouring out smoke so I hurried up and unplugged it, what do I do now what would of happened if I wasnt home? well if you could please give me a call thank you very much

It looked far more dramatic than it actually is, I would suspect a capacitor was overloaded and blew, they are filled with alternate layers of foil and asphalt but there is really no fire risk as everything is contained within the aluminum box and it may make a lot of smoke but it has so little fuel it is more a show that a real risk. This is a pretty rare occurence that is a combination of a defect and the pump jamming.
