6100 just buzzing

Hello,

I bought a Tunze 6100 stream about 3 months ago and it worked great until last week. Now all it will do is buzz. It is the newer model , I did all the cleaning steps and I dont think that is the problem. I will admit that the transformer took a pretty hard fall when I was cleaning. Wether it is coverd under warranty or not I need to get it fixed , should I send it in?
