6100 mag mount problem

My 6100 moves on its own after running on interval 2. It ends up swinging to the front of the tank. Is it a mounting bracket problem? I have tried to reset them on the base where the teeth are and it does not help. The magnet is level and I do not know what to try next. Thanks.

Are you sure the pump is on properly? It should hang down from the arm, not rest above it.

Yes the pump does hang down from it. Sorry for not being clearer. It appears that the two surfaces are not meshing enough to stop the pump from moving on the bracket.

For now can you zip tie it? Just run a cable tie through the post? I am out of the pieces you need, if you PM in about a week I hope to have them.

Mine have a zip tie on them, because of the angle I set them. You really can't even see the zip tie, and it really goes a long way to preventing unwanted swing. You can still swing them with it on there, so you lose no function should you wish to change the angle.
