6100 Not working/Driver sounding alarm

I have two 6100's on a controller.... One of the 6100's stopped working and the driver is sounding the alarm. Pump was cleaned and will not spin at all driver...

Was working fine but woke up to the alarm going off, the driver hotter than normal. I unplugged it and left it off for the day, tried it again this morning and the alarm still sounds and the pump wont turn at all... Do I need a new Driver?

Are you sure it is completely clean? I find often people ignore cleaning the upper bearing because it is stuck to the magnet and they think it is all one piece. If the drive unit has to drag the bearing the pump will do what you describe. First go through the thread at the top of this forum on cleaning, if that doesn't get it, send it in for repair.

No good, cleaned everything very well as you posted in the thread. Alarm still sounds and the prop will not spin at all...

ive had my 6100 for 1 day and now my alarm is going off as well...whats the deal???

I am very sorry Joe, apparently some plastic from another product was still in the machine when they switched production and this contaminated the plastic and caused a defect. The pump is electrically safe but the plastic is swollen and has seized the magnet. PM me an address and I will get a motor out to you.
