6100 off then on. Very Bad for Pump?

I've got the 7095 running my 6100's in the #1 interval that shuts them off completely and turns them on (to whatever I set it at).

Q:Is this extremely bad for the pumps to turn them off, then on? I really like the wave it's making. Much better than the Interval #2 that only takes them down to 30%.

The only thing to keep in mind is that calcium builds up faster in this type of operation, so you do what to be more vigilant with maintenance.

Thanks Roger. Glad to hear it's not a pump killer and I'll make sure I take 'em apart periodically and soak in vinegar.
