6100 Placement in 72x18x28 Tank

Need help placing my Tunze 2x6100 w 7095 controller in my 72x18x28 tank. I tried putting them in the back corners and pointing to the front middle, but it seems to kick up too much sand even with the adjustment on the transformer turned all the way down.

Also, what would be the best way to get some natural wave movement? I am currently using interval 2 30%-60%.

I would use interval 2 with a 3 sec pulse and 6 hr interval. You may want to just aim them down the length of the tank, placement is really trial and error based on your individual set up and preferences.
