6100 placement

I have (2) 6100s on a 7095 controller. My tank is 120 eurbraced tech tank 48x24x24, I have 1/4" to 1/2" mixed sand and crushed coral. Only keep sps coral in this tank. Just want to know what would be optimal placement for these streams. Also what settting is reccomended? I run them 40%-100% every 1.5 seconds on interval 2.
Thanks for the help.

I believe the recommended placement would be on the back wall in the corners pointed to the front of the middle of the front display glass.

I was thinking if I did that it would dig the whole front of the tank up? What setting would you run them on?

Here is a pic of the tank...

I would try that if it is most reccomended for overall flow.

Crazysps,

The way you have your streams places in your 120 is how I placed them in my lil 75. I had a huge problem with them digging the front with the "recommended" placement. I hear it is a little bit of trial and error. I might try to get it to work in your tank. But in the end I suppose if your tankmates are happy then it really does not matter.

Well after several trials and many errors I decided on the same placement you have them. It works.. Thought I think the 2 6000s in my tank are a bit overkill. That's the reason I run them on interval #2 alternating from 30-60%.

Right now tank inhabitants seem to be thriving... I just am not getting an over all flow around the back of the rocks and around the sides. it just seems I have enough flow to get what I want I am just not getting it.

Rvitko, do you mind giving me an opinion?

It is largely trial and error but I would try angling them more to the front center or moving one pump forward of the structure and the other where it is in the back corner. Basically one in the front corner one in the back corner on opposite sides.
