Now let me start off by saying that this pump was built in 05, and just now having problems with it.
I have been getting the loud beep from the driver box, thought the pump was dirty, so decided to do a cleaning on it.. Cleaned it, and stuck it back in the tank, and it worked for a few mins, and then once again the loud sustained noise greeted me. Left the pump out over night, and thought I would try it again in the AM, and it has been working fine for a few hours, and the shaft was jammed. I have 2, of the 6100's.. I switched the shaft out of the working one and plugged it into the non working one, and it was still jammed. The non working shaft works in the 6100 that is still kicking. I also switched the drivers just to see, and they seem to be okay. So, I am guessing it is the internals of the pump itself that are giving up?
Thanks!
