6100 seems weak?

I have a 6100 as well as two seio 2600's. my issue is that the seios put out a ton more water movement than the tunze. I always hear that the tunze are powerful but if just my tunze is on i bearly see the water move on the surface. i hve the adjuster up all the way. I dont know if im doing something wrong or this is just the way the tunze is. i am now considering selling the tunze and buying a wavy sea on my return for better flow! any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Ryan

What does the label on the transformer (hockey puck) say? I suspect you have a 6000, not a 6100. Both use motor 6100.10. A 6000 has a 7210.202 transformer and a 6100 has a 7410.602 transformer. A 6000 would be weaker than the Seio 2600, it is a 1800gph pump.

I would have to see it to be sure but gph wise the Stream should be stronger, if you are only basing it on the force of the flow and not the volume you may be correct. The flow of a 6100 should cover a roughly 7ft by 2ft area. Did you buy it new or used?

I would be curious if maybe the prop was modified in some way to reduce flow or a prop from a different model Stream some how ended up in the pump.

Why not send it in and I can check it out?
