I think i have it narrowed down to needing a replacement power pack/supply for the pump. I have vinegar bathed it, switched drive shafts with another working 6101 and still nothing, i switched the power cord and still nothing, i switched the power pack and then it spun.

How can i get a replacement 6101.240 power pack?

THanks

If it is less than 2 years old and didn't get wet, send it in and we will replace it under warranty. Otherwise you can order it on tunze.com, part 6101.240_A and if you need it ASAP, it is a laptop power supply and any computer shop or electronics shop should be able to provide a comparable model, the key is that it be capable of at least 60W.

what about the voltage, im finding 9v and 12v power packs?
The tunze power pack has a range from 5v-24v

Does this matter?

The pump needs at least 10V, and for full power it needs 24V, the lower the voltage the lower the speed. You should be able to find a 24V or switchable one, it has to a laptop power supply, not just a wall pack transformer as it needs to be capable of supplying 60W. Most laptops use 15-24V and most of the generic replacement units have some way of switching the voltage for different brands.

Thanks to this thread, I had the same problem with my 6101 and I was able to find a 24v lap top power supply. got my pump running again.
