6101 not restarting

did you remove the impeller and the bearing behind it as seen in this thread when you soaked it? Is this something that was running then stopped?
 
Give removing the impeller and bearing a try. If there is calcium deposits on either it can cause resistance/drag and will seize the pump when it senses it. The 6101 does not have the audiable alarm as mentioned in that thread title but instead just stops
 
took apart the pump today, but didn't see any calcium deposit. still doesnt turn on, any suggestion?

Send it in, it has an electrical problem and will be replaced under warranty-

If you do that is great, but if not I can work from the production date, the 6101 came out in July 2007, so very few are not under warranty.
