6101 not starting

So i woke up today and my 6101 wont start at all even when i plug it in the controller wont come on any ideas?

I would guess the power supply is dead. Do you have another pump you could swap power supplies with?

No i do not. Just this one, how would the power supply due or does it just happen over time?

They don't last forever, 3 years is about what you can expect, it is a basic laptop power supply and you may have also found with your laptop they don't last forever. They are not too expensive, about $50. It might be best to send in the pump and power supply to be checked out, but I am reasonably confident based on no controller lights that the power supply is the culprit, a bad motor would generally still get power to the controller.
