I have two 6101 pumps that I purchased new in 2007. I only ran them for a few months (of which they worked fine,) and had to take down the tank that they were in.
Fast forward to today. I recently set up a 125 and decided I wanted to use my 6101s. I had cleaned them out when I took down the old tank. Even so, they both got a vinegar bath again before they went into my new tank. They're hooked up to a RKE on the wave maker setting, and they both worked fine for the first two weeks. One of them quit working a few days ago. Both power supplies are fine, as I can use the functional pump with either one. I completely disassembled the broken one to inspect it, but it's clean as a whistle. Do I need to send it out?
