quick background on it. I had 2 6101's, they were purchased within a month of their release, so whenever that was.
last month I added 2 more, 6105's this time. fantastic redesign if I might say.
so I have all 4 running on a 7095. used to be in mode 2, but when I added the 2 others, the flows crossed, so I went to mode 1. I knew this could cause issues with calcium buildup.
fast foward to this past week. I notice neither of the 6101's is doing anything. 6105s are fine, but 6101 are nada.
ok... honestly, havent given them a GOOD cleaning in a long while. so pull em out, put them in the sink, off the 7095, and bam, they run just fine? whatever, clean em anyway, vinegar and such. so they are pristine, like they just came out of the box. running strong in the sink.
back to the tank we go. plug em in. run for a cycle or 2, then nothing. unplug them from the 7095, no change, should be solid on full speed, and nothing. if I unplug it and plug it back in, then itll kick on, and run till it is cycled off by the 7095.
tried unplugging the power pack from the little black box thing, that doesnt reset it, you have to actually unplug the outlet and plug that back in...
is the little inverter things going bad do you think? odd that both could give up the ghost at the same time? I cant say that it was originally the SAME time, because honestly, I dont check them that often... but yeah.
any thoughts from anyone? by the way, I hear tell of alarms and stuff when it needs cleaning, Ive never encountered any audible alarms at any point. and while cleaning, I saw no noticable buildup on anything, it was dirty, but wasnt binding.
