6105 clicking sounds

i have a pair of 6105s.
i 've had them for almost 2 years now.

They both make loud clicking sounds when run in on/off wave-maker mode.
Cleaning and reassembling them made no difference.

I have a pair of 6095s that never had this issue.

After some research online, i've learned that adding another black attenuator disk can take care of the problem.
Ypu can see this issue discussed on another forum by clicking on this link:

How can i get a pair of these disks for my 2 pumps?
Yoour input or additional advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Are you in the US or Canada? These parts are available and I can point you in the right direction. I would be cautious about adding the other disk and do it this way. First replace the disks with new 3005.740, if those do not solve it then add the disk 6065.792, it can be that the 3005.740 is just worn or compressed and if you go too high, you can have noise issues as well, the goal is to just take out the slack, but not prop up the drive unit. This noise is because when the motor kicks on the coil pulls the drive unit down, so we just want to minimize that travel and be careful to not set up a situation where it bounces or grinds on a surface and uses more power.

Can you PM me your mailing info and I will send some parts to try? Try the 3005.740 though first, especially if yours look compressed or worn.
