i heard a clicking and when i look at the impeller while it is running and every 10-15secs it jumps forward and hits the impeller cover? any idea what would cause this?
How old is the pump? My best guesses are that the disk is improperly installed or has slipped forward or the drive unit is stuck to the shaft by some debris. A blip in the controller signal where it is cutting out could also be a potential cause.
