6105 not having problems.

I purchased 2 new TUNZE 6105s and a 7096 on 02/03/2010. I placed them in the system and got them all configured without significant issue. However now I'm experiencing some odd behavior from one of the 6105s. I have the pumps running on the controller on Ports 1 and 2 they are counter pulsing 70%-35% power and 35%-70% power respectively. All is well except when I clean them. When I clean them and place them back in the tank the one problematic pumps sounds as if it binding and goes through an entire stop-go-stop-go sequence. It appears to work correctly in the 70% phase but perform intermittently in the 30% power phase of the pulse cycle. I swapped them on the controller and the performance issue continues with the one pump performing intermittently in the 30% power phase. I also noted that when it does begin its entire stop-go-stop-go sequence it has a loud audible clicking noise. It does settle out after about 15 minutes. Is this something I need to be worried about? It makes me crazy as the other 6105 does not do this.

My guess would be either the potentiometer on the junction box has been turned down or the disk on the drive unit of this pump is worn out/defective or missing. The disk goes under the drive unit on the shaft. If it slips up or down and binds in that position or is sticking to the drive unit, it could cause this behavior.
