6105 restart issue

I am running 4 x 6105 on a 7095. It seems that most of the time after leaving feed mode, the one pump that is using a 12V jumper does not restart. You see it bounce around in the clamp a little but then it goes still.

Turning the pump off (removing power) and turning it back on never works. I have to kill power to the controller by turning off all 4 pumps and then I restart them one at a time with a few seconds inbetween.

Any ideas?

I would check that the drive units spin freely on the metal shaft, if they become fused they won't spin easily as they have to drag the shaft with the magnet and the shaft is meant to remain stationary, at 12V the pump doesn't have enough power to do this. It should spin on the shaft as shown in this video at about 25 seconds in-

Thanks for the reply. The units are all brand new and in use less than 2 weeks but I will check this tonight.

Also double check that the potentiometers on the junction boxes are not turned down, this can also cause this problem, especially at 12V, this adjustment is only intended to be used with no controller. If you use a controller, the controller should be used for all adjustments.

One of my 6105 also has this issue.. we are waiting for a 1 for 1 exchange.

If there is an issue the pump should be sent in to your countries repair center and whatever part is the source of the issue would be replaced.

I've got all 4 pumps on the 18V and the little dial on the transformer is cranked to max output on all of them. I will often go check on the tank and find a different pump has stopped most days. Unplugging the pumpfrom controller and power and re-powering again does nothing. I have to kill power to the controller by powering off all pumps and then turning them all back on. This gets me by for another day or so until a different one quits.

I've cleaned every single one and checked the rotation of the prop on the shaft...

There are a lot of potential issues with that many pumps, can you at least narrow it down to an exact number of pumps that cut out? What model of controller are you using?

The steps to figuring this out will be figuring out exactly which pumps fail, and then if they work continuously off the controller, we would have to lean toward the issue being the controller or controller cables. If they don't then work continuously it will be the motor or power supply that is the culprit and swapping power supplies with a known good one would narrow it down further.
