6105 stream vibration

Hi guys

About three weeks ago i bought an extra 6105 for my tank. It came with the new style silence clamp with 4 blue silicone spacers.

It has now been running about 3 weeks and I am still not able to use the 18v jumper as the noise and vibration is unbareble. With the 12v jumper the noise is very audible when running at 100 percent. If i hold the powercord in my hand I can clearly feel the vibration that I am hearing.

Any ideas?

I see that it has actually been running for one month.

My guess is one of the following two possibilities-

The front cover is not completely on, please check.

The shaft is bent. The new titanium shafts don't rust but are more easily bent and if they get bent there is a lot of vibration and noise. This can happen in our storage or assembly. You can check by taking out the shaft and checking if it rolls flat on the table and has no bow.

Just took it apart. The shaft is bend. I have rolled it ón what I know is perfectly straight and I can see the light changing under it. I can also hear it rolling unevenly.

Do you think Tunze DE will send me a new one without mé having to send it in? I would hate to be without it for weeks as I have no replacement.

Yes, I am pretty sure they will. I got your email to the factory and will try to forward it, many employees are still on summer vacation so there will be a delay in response but I will explain it to them.

Nope, I haven't had an email (I have checked my spam-filter also). I would be nice if she could confirm that a new shaft is or will be sent to me.

They are swamped right now, I am sure she will do it. They used to close the factory in August but now it has 50% staff and today is the first day most have returned to work. The other 25% had vacations in July and 25% will be gone for September. For the last 4 weeks she was one of only 2 of the 6 staff who handle orders, emails and phone calls who was in the office.

It should be, I know she confirmed she got my email and said they would send you a shaft, I suspect it would just be sent by mail.
