6105 troubleshooting

One of my 6105s stopped working this afternoon. I started out by giving the unit a thorough cleaning but still couldn't get it to spin back up. Everything seems to be in good shape on the unit nothing broken off or dirty or corroded.
I swapped it's power supply with my other unit and the other unit continued to function just fine so I know the power supplies are good.
I also swapped the control cables and again the second unit continued to function.
So I'm wondering what else I should try to try and get it going again.

How old is the 6105? The most commonly overlooked issue is that the prop and magnet spin on the shaft, the shaft is a static part, if these parts are fused to the shaft, the shaft may be dragged along or not spin at all, but either way it will eventually stall and stop due to the high heat and overload.

Its about 9 months old. Your referring to the metal shaft inside the pump body the magnet/prop slide onto that seemed in fine condition no obvious pitting and wasn't bound to the magnet. I'll take it apart again when I get home this evening and inspect further been letting it soak in vinegar incase there was calcium buildup I couldn't see.

Thanks

If everything is clean and the pump is that new, I have to suspect a defect in the motor block, please send me just the pump, we will replace it, I don't need the power supply or magnet holder. Include a note with your return address and phone number and a copy of your invoice.
