6110 Add-on?

I was looking at the 6110 kit for my 240, but was wandering if I would be able to add another 6100 pump to the controller if needed. It looks like the 6100 pump was the same pump used in the 6110 kit. If so, can another 6100 pump be added to the controller of the 6110 kit? Hope that wasn't too confusing.
What's the warranty on these pumps?

A 6110 is just a 6100 that includes a single controller. In the future to add another pump you will need Branch Adapter 7092.34. The only draw back to this over the multicontroller is both pumps are doing the same thing, the multicontroller allows independent control of both pumps and connectivity for up to 8 pumps, the single controller is maxed out at 2. For that matter you could just use two 6110's and have independent control but without coordination, the multicontroller lets you time the pulses exactly so one pump is slowing down when the other is speeding up. The pumps have a 2 year warranty, it is based on a 7400/2 which has been made for several years and I would expect that it will last 10+ years, but you may need some parts along the way. The Branch adapter is about $25.

Can you only buy the multicontroller with the TS24 kit or can you buy the pieces seperately? The multicontroller is the 7094, right?

You can buy all pieces seperately and for that matter the cost is the same whether you buy 2 6100 and 7094 or TS24 kit.

By MSRP it should be 151.11 for the multi and 280.25 for the pump. I will add that most suppliers will probably have 6110's and 6080's but be out of stock on 6100's and 7094. I know that the TS24 kit was far more popular than any of us expected and Tunze is having some problems keeping up with demand.
