6125 stream properties

I just pulled the trigger on 2 x 6125 for my 6ft 180. I have a single overflow situated on the end. I have a vortech on the opposing wall towards the front of the tank. I plan to mount 1 6125 on each side of the overflow box (front/back of the tank) and alternate the power to them every 3 hours. This would hopefully create a gyre type flow when the back pump on, aiding the circular flow of the tank. The other pump will directly oppose the vortech to create a more turbulent flow when it is powered up. Does this sound like a good plan? Will the 6125 be a good match for this setup? Probably too late to ask since I already ordered, LOL.

Also, how close in front of the 6125 can a sps colony be placed? I have never seen a tunze in tank before. Yes, I know, I don't get out much.

Thanks,

Michael
