Just checking if this is normal. I dont remember it looking like this before. This is where the impeller rides in the body. Attempting to attach a picture as well.

The image is a bit blurry but I suspect it is normal, the inner wall of the pump was clear, we changed it as many people were alarmed to see the inside of the pump, we thought it was cool but due to complaints, we changed to black. Because it is clear you can see the copper coil and the sealing resin poured over the coil and some of the inner circuitry. There is no iron in the pump so there is nothing that should be able to rust inside but you can see the copper windings. If it is rust, it could be that GFO dust or some iron particles are rubbed into the plastic on the surface.

Could you email some clearer pictures? Their is no iron in either the rotor or motor, so a source of rust if it is indeed rust would most likely be iron particles attracted to the rotor and then rubbed in, GFO particles being the most common since GFO is just rust pellets and the particles are attracted to magnets.

Hard to get a picture close enough to show it is under the resin. I will try to take some more and email them. I havent ran GFO in this system at all.
