6200 not spinning

hi Roger,

i have 2 6200's. on one of them the the impeller doesn't spin. you can hear it humming and the impeller spun for about a second or two then stopped. now it doesn't turn at all even if i use the other pumps driver.

do you think it's fixable?

Does the driver alarm, do you know about how old the pump is? Have you tried another drive unit (impeller)?

no alarm. i switched everything back and forth between the two that i have and it seems like the only thing that doesn't work is the one impeller housing (pump thing). the two impellers work in the other pump. one impeller has a crack in one of the blades also. i imagine they are close to 3 yrs old but don't know exactly off hand.

what should i do?

A 6200 would likely be 4 years or more old, they were made from 2004-2007. I would send the one pump in, typically a dead motor causes a driver alarm, a dead driver gives no alarm, the driver is the blue or silver aluminum box the pump is connected to. It may be repairable. Include a return address and phone number.
