6200 trans on wavebox pump?

Are there any benefits to running the 6200 transformer on a wavebox stream?

If you take a 6100 and add a 6200 drive unit, (like a wavebox) and then run the stream on a wavebox controller, would there be any ill effects from pulsing 20%/100% instead of 0%/100% ?

Only on very long tanks would you see any benefit.

How would you get a 6091 to run from 20% to 100%, it is a simple on and off timer?

Would 6' be considered very long? i think not.

its not a 6091, but functions VERY similar, 555 timer and some pots, anyways it has the ability to pulse @ 100% with the wavebox, and be on @ whatever % when not pulsing. just not sure what a wavebox pump can handle. 20/100, 30/100, what do you think?

Care to elaborate on your 555 timer? Is it a DIY unit or an off the shelf item?

As far as I know the stream pumps (the wavebox pump is the same?) can handle as little as 25% but any less may damage the motor in the long run, Roger can correct me if I am wrong, so why not just on/off pulse?

On the other hand I am very interested in your timer if it can do 20/100, since the nanostream 6055 can do as little as 18% by default, maybe even a little less.

It only has a benefit on tanks that are 10' or longer where the pump runs an extended time.

If you wanted to do this I would use the 6200 transformer as the pump may over draw the transformer if it is not pulsed on and off.

so to be on the safe side, i should run a 6200 transformer on the 6100 with the 6200 prop. that makes sence.
