6201 in a 120?

Is a 4' 120g tank too short for one of these? Or will the flow not be gentle enough to point straight across the front infront of the rock work.

I have done it so it works but the wave is short and rather rapid in frequency. The wave will typically be about 3/4"-1" high. You would need additional flow.

I thought the wavebox was the 6212 and the stream was 6201. I have a wavebox and it works well.

Sorry, I was confused, I was answering a couple questions almost at once. I would stick with the 6101, unless the tank is bare bottom SPS only the 6201 is likely too much.

It is BB SPS with Acans and the like on the glass. No Euphyllia or leathers.

I have never consider acanths very high flow, the few I have, seem to expand better with moderate flow but I am not an expert on this topic.
