6205 ...impeller broke out the back of motor?

Hi Roger-
I have a 2 yr old 6205 on 7096 controller. I heard loud clunking in my tank and removed the pump. The impeller broke out the back out the motor. I retrieved the piece from the tank.
How do I go about shipping to you and what is estimated cost of repair. I believe I'm out of warranty period. Thanks

Typically what you describe would be caused by the propeller fusing to the shaft by calcium build up, it can then turn the shaft if the bushings are worn and act like a drill and essentially drill through the back of the pump. If it is just a hole the size of the shaft, it is inconsequential and a new drive unit might be all that is needed. We will just have to see where we are at.
