6205 problem

tried to turn pump on, all that happens is the impeller flickers for just a second and nothing else happens. does anyone know what the problem could be?

Either the drive magnet and prop are stuck to the metal shaft (they should spin freely on the shaft which does not move in normal operation) or the motor is failing.

Thx Roger, I appreciate the response. I have clr'd the pump and seems to work when I have it controlled by my Digital Aquatics Reef Keeper. I just programmed it to turn off for the night mode and seems to be working for the time being. How and where can I order a new impellar and shaft for it? Once again thanks for your time
