Got home today to find my 6205 wasn't running. It was plugged in, had power but no action at the pump. Checked the power connections and unplugged it and replugged it in, it started for about a second and stopped.
I pulled the pump out and removed the magnet and prop assembly to check for any buildup. Looked clean to me. Put it back together and put it in the tank and plugged it in, again ran for a second or so and stopped.
Pulled it back out and cleaned it anyway and tried running it in a pitcher of water, it starts for half a second and stops every time.
It's not running on a controller, it's directly plugged in, constantly powered.
I do see some wear on the magnet/prop assembly. I'm not sure if that's the issue or not. Picture of the assembly for reference:
The blue rubber cap on the end of the assembly was removed for the picture, it is intact otherwise.
