6208 Comline

I am considering one of the new 6208 wavebox for my 50"x26"x24 eurobraced tank. I only have about 1/2 inch from the water line to the brace. Will it work well enough? Right now I am using two 6105s and two 6055s. I was going to replace one of each with the wavebox.

While it would work in a technical sense, the flow generated by a 1/2" or less wave would mean it simply is not worthwhile. To really get a useful flow the wave needs to be 3/4" +. The 6208 will be able to do that, but it sounds like you don't have the room.

Bummer, I was hoping to be able to replace two powerheads with the one wavebox. Thanks for the advice.
