6212.50 on 7096

Can you control the 6212.50 Wave Box Extention with the 7096 controller? It would be more cost effective for me to purchase the 6212.50 and the 7096 controller if that would work. Or is there no way to use the 6212.50 Wave Box Extention without getting the 6212 Wave Box also. I really want to control my Wave Box with a 7096 and hate to buy more controllers than I need. .

Thanks so much shawnz28

Im still not sure exactly what Wave Box to get?

My tank is 4'LX2'WX3'H

I was wondering if the Nano Wave Box would be big enough or would I need the 6212.50? If you think the Nano would work for my tank.... Would it be possible to valve down or reduce the flow on a 6212.50 so that it wasnt over kill? (basicly run the 6212.50 at the Nano rate of flow) I would rather buy the 6212.50 and the 7906 controller knowing that if I up size my tank in the future it would still be useful. But at the same time I dont want it, if I cant run it at a low enough setting.

I am not sure how depth will play for sure but I do know in a standard 120 (4x2x2) the 6212 will make a slightly larger wave. I would have to assume that being said with the extra water volume the 6212 would likely be the better choice but Roger would know for sure tomorrow. 4 foot is the shortest tank the 6212 will work in. You can dial the 6212 down but the nano works more on displacement and the larger more on flow and wave harmonics.

I want to get a Wave Box for sure, but I just want to make the best decision for my tank. I appreciate all the help.
