I am looking for a backup power supply for a 6255 and a 6205. Is a 24VDC 5Amp power supply with the 2.5x5.5MM plug the correct one. Thanks in advance.

It is our part 6300.240. Just so you know, this large power supply tends to be very durable, it is tremendous overkill as it has nearly double the wattage capacity of what the pump draws and it runs very cool as a result. I rarely have demand for this part, but we do stock it. Water damage is about the only thing that kills them. If it were me, I might invest the money in a 6125 or 6085 for a backup instead, that way you are also covered if the pump need service, I just don't see needing a power supply and at the end of the day, it is a 90W laptop power supply and in a pinch, it may not be exact and likely 18 or 19V instead of 24V, but you can buy one at any electronics store at a moments notice and get by.
