6508 question

Wondering I could get away with using 1 6508 or 6512 on my 620? The thought would be to have it on one end and pulse to cause a nice wave. Deminsions are 8' by 54" by 28" deep. Its primarily a lps and softy tank with a few monti's. I currently have a Mp40 on one end and 3 6305's along the back.

This tank is a bit small for the pumps, first they are huge, about 12" tall, 12" front to back and 6" wide. Second the flow covers a 4ft by 10ft area, it is dramatically more flow than a 6305 though it very wide and gentle. It could work if it was avery high flow SPS tank but i think it would be too much otherwise and I don't know that it is wise to fully depend on one pump should it ever need repair. The 6508 is basically a home hobby version while the 6512 has an industrial power supply and has to be wired up. 6508 has a power supply very much like the 6305 only much bigger and everything connects in a similar way except the power plug is like a pro mic/amp plug with the 3 pins in a locking connector.
