Are you sure you covered or bypassed the light sensor?

It's very dark where the light is at. I think the bulb is dead. I will replace the bulb and see what happen.

I used to run these things back in 2002 when they were all the rage for fuges. They're nice... but I went through 4 of them in 2 months before I found one that worked reliably. Since then, I've switched to a clamp on light with a melevs-reef-bulb; plug-n-play, and I haven't switched out the bulb in 7 months of 24-7 usage.

I've always had good luck with the non-sensored ones. I switch mine out every 10-12 months.
