6700k/actinic 50/50??

hello,

Im trying to find a 50/50 PC bulb that is half 6700k and half actinic, either true actinic~460 or the bluish purple that aids with the first par spike~420

I have a 12 gal nano and im worried one actinic bulb and one daylight would make the tank half white and half blue. I could do 1 50/50 and 1 dual actinic but i would like to include 6700k and 10000k, as well as both actinic nm spectrums.

So, anyone know of a half actinic half 6700k or a combination of bulbs achieve this effect?

has anyone used a separate actinic and daylight bulb in a small tank and experienced the color separation?

My Biocube was equipped with one 10k and 1 actinic and there was no color separation.

was the actinic in the front or back? i think im just gonna have to do it that way. Now if i could find them in 24watt sizes :hmm4:

I know Current-USA makes both dual daylight 6.5k/10k bulbs and dual actinic 420nm/460nm bulbs (don't know if they come in 24 watt sizes though). Any particular reason you want to incorporate 6.5k? It seems things would be a lot easier for you if you went strictly 10k for your full spectrum component.
