Are you dosing with any additional nutrients? Im really interested in doing some macros in one of the invert tank projects I'm working on and these seem like they'd be a little more conductive to the tide pool type environment I'd like to provide for my critters.
Nice! That's a variety of Nemastoma. Did you pick it up from Edward, or someone else?
Beautiful!
I love how if your tank is full of algae, the sand stays pearly white. Jelous.
Love the growth and coloration. Is that a huge bristleworm right in the front too?
Hotdamn! Looking great!

Nemastoma will attach to a rock. Dragons breath won't attach as far as I know. I have mine anchored to a piece of rock so it doesn't get knocked around by the flow.Should that type of algae be in sand or rock substrate? I have the dragons breath variety and it doesn't seem to adhere to rock in my tank... Should I try sand?
Sand bed is about 1.5~2in. I didn't it mostly for the mangrove I have.@leonel619
And how deep is your sand bed? I want your tank lol...
Thanks! Macro tanks are fun. They don't require anything special. Very lo maintenance so if your buddy is like me and doesnt have too much time to dedicate to a full reef tank then something like this is perfect.A buddy of mine at work is always thiking of what do do with his tank. I showed him your thread and he's hooked. Just amazing.
