6k clowns?

Amphiprion mccullochi

Amphiprion mccullochi

kdblove_99,

I am happy to say that yes, these incredible fish will be going to a good home!

Wow, i thought those would be there awhile to be honest. With this economy 6k is a lot top throw down on fish!

So i guess they will not be able to over take the Banner Wrasse for longevity. I have seen that fish on there for a very long time now

vaporize,

Thank you for your inquiry. We are checking with our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility regarding the McCulloch's Clownfish â€"œ Pair. We will post that information when we have it available for you.

vaporize,

It amazes me to hear about all the buzz, and read so many threads on ReefCentral and on other forums regarding the Mccullochi clowns.

I can assure you and everyone else here on RC that these incredible fish are going to a very good home. Unfortunately I am unable to disclose any additional information (as I am sure you can understand) beyond that. All of us here at Drs. Foster and Smith/LiveAquaria feel strongly that the information provided by our valued customers remains private.

Please keep an eye out soon for a new thread which I plan to start here in our Forum Section on RC when time permits. With all of the hype surrounding these clownfish, I would like to detail the story surrounding the steps that were involved for us to obtain, acclimate, bond and condition multiple pairs of Tank Bred Amphiprion mccullochi clownfish, all of which were acquired in late November 2008.

Stay Tuned!

bond and condition multiple pairs

More to come?

Even though many of us can't purchase these it is always fun to windows shop on divers den. I have signed up for DD email alerts and will be checking daily. Okay, probably not daily.

Us fish fanatics can't wait to read your thread Kevin. We will be looking out for it.

Yes, I read the thread posted by the breeder (Ryan) and it was fascinating, so I for sure would love to read about your side of the story. What he did was truly amazing and I am so glad it had a happy ending.

I think all of us who read this forum would love to have more inside information from you on YOUR side of the hobby/business. We can always learn something and your posts are highly informational and fascinating.

Who ever got them they are worth every penny. These are VERY rare and unique clowns that are strictly protected in the only place they exist.

Looking forward to the thread.

It is good to know these guys went to a good home. Maybe one day I will be able to own one of these beautiful fish. I can't wait to read the thread about them.

hyperboy,

I apologize for the delay and am diligently trying to finish this up.

It’s always challenging in this business as it seems there is never enough time. Balancing the day working with numerous suppliers to obtain the best fish, while simultaneously working with our incredible staff here at DFS, along with taking care of some of the customer questions, and the operations of our facility and the livestock in our care is can be an enormous challenge.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and I assure you we will post this soon and let everybody know.

Regards,
