Tank is 6 wks old 150gals. all parameters are good. I have 6 chromis and a banded goby. I am thinking about add a royal gamma as my next fish. My question is should I add it after my first water change which should be in any day now? Also when is the best time to start adding calcium to my tank? How soon can I add a soft coral?

you can add coral when all parameters are good. do you have the lights and flow for the corals you like?
don't add calcium unless you need to (or for that matter don't anything). test for it and look at your levels.

Hopefully you are going to quarantine whatever fish you buy before putting it into the tank. There are so many sad stories on here that go something like "I bought a new fish three days ago, acclimated it and added it to my display. For the first two days it looked great, now it looks like it has ich, what do I do?". The answer to "what do I do" involves a treatment tank anyway and much more hassle. P.S. Though I am a relative newbie, I learned this the hard way by having to catch and quarantine a handful of fish while letting my display run fallow (fish-free) for six weeks.
