Tank looks fantastic! The dimensions of your aquarium make it a very unique display.
Sorry to hear of the Coral ban. Hopefully things resolve quicker than anticipated.

Love the height of this tank! Looks fantastic, as do the Idols.
are they eating frozen/pellets? Or just picking on Live Rock and pods?

Indeed they are schooling . My idea is to try to find a way of keeping " an almost impossible fish to keep" such as Moorish idol , by way of creating the most natural habitat for it to thrive . At present I am trying to create different parts of the tank for sps, Lps, nps, and somehow strike a balance with the least of human interference . In my natural filter tank , I am trying to create food chain within my filter tank system to feed the occupants in my main tank . The moorish idols are busy picking on live rocks and sponges and are not taking pellets or frozen mysis yet . My pair of shrimp fish are now thriving by eating natural foods from the filter tank and I am hoping to go against all the odds and able to keep the moorish idol too . The reason that I introduced a school of moorish idols so that they can survive against other tangs in the tank . So far it has been working quite well as this school of fish can deter an onslaught by other fish in the tank . I will keep you updated on the progress of these fish.
