Rock-work is Looking great!!
Will you be supplementing the Solatube with any other type of lighting ?
Nearly there just a bit more
As the sun in Thailand is very strong , after a bit of calculation , just one 21 inch solatube might do the job and I am planning to use light disperser to disperse the beam rather than just have one single focused beam . But I have limited space above the tank due to the curve ceiling so I might not be able to centrally locate the 21 inch tube and the light disperser. It may have to be shifted towards the back end so I might have some space in front of the tank to add supplementary LED lights . I am looking at 2 Zet light ZT 6600 in combination with ZETLIGHT PROJECT SERIES-ZP3600-W+R+W for depth. But we will have to wait and see.
Does a Solatube bring in moonlight, too?
Thanks for following this thread. It is looking great so far
Your build is coming along nicely. I'm excited to watch your progress!
Well, we have a clear concept in our mind. We do not just assemble rocks for solely aesthetic but we plan spaces for LPS and SPS which will take into account of water flow as well as light intensity . So It won't be a fruit basket type but will have specific area for different species.Clearly with your experience you are creating your rock work with with the growth of your corals in mind. I'm wondering if your design is entirely intuitive or if you are working with a pattern in mind. If a pattern what lies behind your marvelous creation?
Wow, big project.
Cant wait to see a FTS.
