Finished my plumbing up with success being that no leaks still need to finish my stand and
I added to my aquascape to make it look like a single rock shape without the straight down flat sides.

Need to order my leds.
and finish my stand.

I'm going to use sand and a few lbs of live rock to cycle and seed my structure.

I'm going to keep softies in this tank without fish.

I'm only doing 4 leds on this tank cree 5w white and 1 3w blue

Anyone know of some corals that branch out like sps that don't require high light.? My aquascape is a tri level design that is for the top to extend out and upward while my middle is for stuff like zoas acan low light lps, and m bottom bieng for mushrooms and easy low light corals.

It's working lol

It's working lol

Tank is now running with just water here are some pics.

Heater in the top will go below.

Order leds yesterday for the tank they'll be here in a few days.

My aquascapes been curing about a month now.

I went with a 5.5 gallon sump and will get some live rock cheato and live sand tommorow about 2-3 lbs lr 20lb live sand and some cheato.

i will do 6 inch deeps sand bed 8x6 which is 15 lbs the rest of the sand will go up top.

can't wait to get this thing cycling

Are you satisfied with this sump set up ? I am building a really similar project and I have been going back and forth between using a glass 10gl that i have or having an acrylic set up built. Any opinions or advice?

Reef (nano) tank update

Reef (nano) tank update

Cycle is getting done with, but I'm going to add some rock so it may have another little cycle but I'm going to keep the new live rock in a container with water so it will be minimal.

I added a 5 gallon rubbermaid to hold lr I will get about 12 lbs. So it will be a total of 15 lbs.

Tank looks pretty dirty with diatom ridiculosness.

I got a little creative and put some live rock on the return and overflow.
