7.9 Earthquake hits Tonga

I saw on fox news that a earthquake hit the Tonga area and they are warning of a huge tsunami, I looked on Yahoo news and have found nothing about it

A new island in the making. Somone is going to have to go over there and monitor the colinization of corals on that new piece of rock

I could be wrong, but....I'm sure the reefs in the area will be impacted by the volcano. Lava = heat = raise in water temp quickly..... = bleaching....let alone other gases etc that have entered the water. Mother natures way of remodeling parts of the reef tract!
