7 Stores, 2 Guys, 1 Dodge Cummins...

KMP

Wag More; Bark Less
Made our biannual SF Bay Area run. Hit seven stores - a new record :)

Amazon Pets - Nice shop, friendly staff, can't wait till that surge tank display is done! Large colonies, good prices.

Dolphin Pet Village - Salt water area set up since last visit, best stuff was in not for sale tank, chatted w/one of the employees; nice guy.

Kings Aquarium - Two great display tanks, best live rock I've ever seen (large, great shapes), no SPS; kinda weird.

Pit Stop - Kevin(95695) did some horse trading with a guy in San Jose and walked away with...

Aquatic Gallery - Always a hit whether your rubbing bellies or not!

Atlantis Aquarium - Large colonies, nice stuff. If I only had the money.

Aquarium Concepts - Had some beautiful RBTAs, circular display now has corals.

Vallejo Aquarium - No doubt a new store, room to grow, but great set up. Lots of potential here and the staff were very friendly and eager to make a good first impression for return customers. Definately want to keep your eye on this place. One softy tank set up now; SPS tank by the beginning of the year.

Post game highlights: (All pics are taken w/my cheezy phonecam, but hey, a pic is better'n'nothing right?)

Big, under construction surge system at Amazon in San Jose:

They were good with customer service, and tipped toward colonies rather than frags.

Dolphin Aquarium had some pieces worth fantasizing about, but too much bubble algae for me. And I know how to deal with bubble algae!!!

King's Aquarium: Was guided there by a reefer who said... They DO have an amazing display @ 4x4x10x1" thick acrylic>>> with nothing in it... And another display with nothing for sale. But no SPS. Killer LR though. This is their big display:

Hit the "usual" stops: Aquatic Gallery and Atlantis Aquarium. OK.

Hit Aquarium Concepts in Dublin: They got the Tonga.
