Just thought I would post this in a few forums that are not too far from me:)

thanks for looking, Chris

No kidding. I'd love to have it myself but I'm still saying mega-boo that Chris is getting out.

Yeah if I do that will probably be it. Geared towards easier to keep corals that I dont care if the fish eat and focusing on some of the larger fish I have wanted for a long time. On a side not found a GREAT piece of driftwood for the new planted tank today:)

I have a 29 I have everything for that I will play around with a few months to see how it goes. This one won't have CO2, just the Seachem carbon source. If that goes well and I'm still into it I am debating between a 75, a 90 or a 120. Already have a 4 strip T5 so the big tank will have to have CO2 to keep up. I have always loved all kinds of tetras, corys, ottos, glass catfish, hatchets etc...also love cichlids like rams and keyholes. I realy like discus but the point of the tank is to make it a little less intensive to take care of so not sure if a few of those thrown in will work or not. Of course we will be moving out much closer to my new practice in the next couple of years so not sure about the wisdom of setting up another big tank in the first place:rolleyes:

I don't know that there's much wisdom ever in setting up a big tank. hah hah. It's more about the satisfaction you get from having it and whether it's a source of relaxation or stress for you.

Lots of genuine interest in the tank but time, $ or some other reason have gotten in the way so far. Have a couple of people that can get it in a few weeks but I need to get it out of the garage as soon as I can so the tank is still for sale. Great tank in great condition, clean and ready to go.
thanks, Chris

Just a little 29. Got the substrate(Fluorite) rinsed and put in, got it filled up and filter and power head running today. I'll give it a few months and then maybe post a few pics even though this is technically a reef site. Donny actually bought my old tank. It was great to see him today. Can't say how nice it was to see you again the other day as well. Funny and great to see how far we have all come since the early days. Good to see the "old salts" from time to time. Donny says he's been doing great with just softies for a while now with very little up keep. We'll see how this whole planted thing goes and then who knows. Planned on my next reef to be softies and low maintenance anyway...we'll see:D
