700g in the mix-

I would think a welder would have fairly good luck building them himself! Then you could customize it for your installation right? My fuge is above my tank with the idea that pods will be in better shape but as Melev pointed out, pods are so small it really doesn't matter. The real benefit in my situation is that all flow is provided by one Hammerhead which feeds the fuge and display. I try to use gravity whenever I can. It keeps the electric bills in check.

Finding the exact size tub you need may be more effort than it's worth when you could pick up some 1/2 - 3/4" acrylic and glue it up yourself. Just a thought to get the juices flowing!:)

I was wanting to know if there were any suggestions for clear/white plastic tubs I could use for sumps?? .

Here is a link
to a company that sells them, these are huge (should work about right for you) the food grade ones are white but they can make any of the non food grade ones white as well..hope this helps.

I see you are in vegas, are you on the LVVR board? I saw the Mcdonalds pics in your gallery did you se that up?

NICE-THANKS FOR THAT LINK, I HAVE SEEN THOSE BEFORE AND THEY ARE PRETTY NICE-ANYTHING ELSE?

JNAROWE-- ACRYLIC SUMPS IS POSSIBLE, BUT I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ALREADY MANUFACTURED IF POSSIBLE.

X-FACTOR-- I DID NOT SET UP THE MCDONALDS TANK, WE HAD STAINLESS STEEL WORK AT THAT LOCATION SO I TOOK SOME PICS IS ALL-I BROWSE LVVR SOMETIMES

Cool, I would love to see your tank some time... (I live in St george). I do a little welding as well on the side (mostly to fix my broken rockcrawler buggy :D ) but I did weld for a well know 4x4 fab shop for a year or so....

I'm just getting into a house and I would LOVE to have the cash to do the same basic thing. But I think all I can do is split a wall between my kitchen and upper living room. oh and about 30g done size LOL
BTW X-factor.... What shop??? LOL nudge nudge wink wink...

Rocky road...they build mostly samauri stuff.

I'm all for the mini-split A/C (I have one after-all) but that unit you showed is pretty pricey. I got mine from www.genieac.com . Don't know if you ordered yours yet but you might check them out and you may be able to save some coin. Keep the pic coming.

No new pics yet-sorry. I found a source for 2 of the titan bins for $250 each used, in Cali, but still undecided about the sumps. Once a decision is made, I'll be on to plumbing -

Change in plans- the 150g has become a frag tank seperate from the display system. It is run by a seq. Dart and I put a euroreef rc135 skimmer on it with some left over 400w mh/power compact fixtures for lighting. The fuge is gonna be underneath the tank as soon as the sump containers are decided on. The split a/c system is in place and ready for hook up. My electrician is gonna add a 100 amp sub-panel in the fish room for extra juice-pics coming soon-

Keeperz,
Tank is looking good. Hopefully I will get the chance to come over and see it sometime. It was good meeting you at Jacqui's the other day.

RIGHT ON MAN-GOOD MEETING YOU ALSO-
THIS THREAD NEEDS TO BE UPDATED BADDDD-
I FINALLY GOT 3 -200G VATS FROM THE MARINE
CENTER, SO NOW I CAN LAYOUT MY PLUMBING
AND HANDLE THAT PART.THE 150 G FRAG TANK IS
HOLDING 77 DEGREES IN THIS WICKED HOT SUMMER,
HOPEFULLY I WILL HAVE THE SAME LUCK WITH THE
DISPLAY!!

SO THE 700 IS STILL IN THE MIX BUT IT IS AT THIS TIME MIXING PUKANI AND REEF CERAMICS-LOL. THE REEF ROOM HAS BEEN HOLDING 70-73 DEGREES THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER AND THE TANK WATER IS SITTING AT 72-73. SO FAR I HAVE A HAMMERHEAD-TWO DARTS-THE SKIMMER -ONE SEIO AND ONE WAVE BOX RUNNING INSIDE THE TANK .THE HAMMERHEAD IS PUSHING TWO WAVEYSEA PLUS AND I AM LIKING THE RESULTS. I DID GET THE TUNZE ATTACHMENT BUT WE SHALL SEE HOW THAT PLAYS OUT. I DID ADD A DEHUMIDIFIER IN THE ROOM AND IT IS WORKING GREAT.MY BABY UNICORN TANG IS THE ONLY RESIDENT SO FAR AND I AM STILL DEBATING ABOUT HIM, I HAVE LARGE BLONDE NASO WAITING IN THE 450 ALSO-HUNG THE LIGHT RAILS BUT I AM IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING A LIGHT RACK-
