Hey Serdar, thanks for the compliment,
good to see your post-nice fish lately at phishy, the
little black tang was sweet!!

Blfuller123- I need to get my kalk and calcium
reactors on line so that I can get the water
stabilized before I frag test it, prolly a month out .
Just recieved two tunze 6200's today from Matt at
Reefready.net-great guy to deal with-and shifted
the room around a little bit. I am thinking of using
the 150g as a remote sand bed and getting a smaller
tank for frag grow out. Any opinions on a remote
sandbed?

the pf1001 calc reactor should arrive wed.
or thurs. so things are looking up. Anyone using
the 500s and if so how do you have it tied
into your system? I also have a litermeter
coming also and figured it would be useful for
the dosing of kalk.

The pf1001 calc reactor is pushing 38dkh into
the system-very happy with it so far, the 150 gal
tank you see is going to be the remote sand bed
which flows into the 200g refugium and then into
the sump. I also hung the light rack with a sheet
of specular clear aluminum, the lumenarcs will
mount to the bottom of the sheet. Still need to
set up a kalk drip but corals will be moving soon-

worried at all about the diamond plate rusting?i like the look of that,i have a bunch of pieces laying around i could use around my new tankwhere did you get the sheet of aluminum?

that is aluminum diamond plate so it won't rust per say, but it will pit and corode anywhere ferrous metal touches it (like screws) I like the stand too...looks like some kind of industrial job. Or that a welder owns this system! :D

invincible- the skimmer needs to be cleaned
out, I have yet to clean it top to bottom from the
day it got water, the sumps and tank need to be
syphoned also-been concentrating on the system
components more then maintenance-
:D

46bfinGA- no worries on the alum. diamond metal
it will hold up for this application just fine-the specular
clear sheet was actually a gift from a local metal supply
house-the sheet had 6" cut off of it for a sample so
they just gave it to me which left me with enough
to cover a 96" pc. of plywood-lumenarcs are made
of the same material from what I understand.

A couple new rock pics-no flash and with flash,
a new little fish with not much color and some chips
:D
