7016.50 phosphat test

I won this high sensitivity phosphate test kit at a club raffle about a month ago and have some questions.

I've tested my water and 2 other peoples water and all have come out at 0.00. this seems unlikely to me. I am following the directions exactly. I was running ROWAphos (100ml in a reactor) when i tested 0.00 about a month ago, 2 weeks or so later I cut the ROWA down to 50ml and still tested 0.00. a week ago I stopped running ROWA entirely and today I still test at 0.00. see below for my tank specs. I have a GSM, yellow coris wrasse, and yesterday i found a healthy copperband butterfly that was eating so i added him. two weeks ago I started feeding twice a day (flakes when the lights comes on, and mysis just before they go off).

do you think the kit is correct? I wonder if I have the wrong scoop for the po4 -1 granule stuff. heres the pic.

That looks correct to me. I would suggest trying a sample from the tap and the LFS for reference. Also, be sure to use the sample of water only as a reference to eliminate any error caused by tints in the water. I run Tunze phosphate remover and I have generally gotten a reading between .05 and .07. Also, it has been a while since I have used the kit but be sure and wait the required couple minutes. I am pretty sure you have to wait to take the reading.

I waited the 5 minutes it says to. I will try it with tap water.
