7094 ??

Has there been any revision to the 7094 controller since it has been out?? I am considering buying a used one and curious whether it would lack any features from the current model.

I was curious about the 7094 specifically. I feel that the 7095 doesn't have enough new features to justify paying the extra money and waiting for it to come out, when I can get an 7094 decent price. How do you feel about the 7095? The only changes seem to be the moonlight and the finer adjustment to the tidal mode.

The 7094 hasn't changed since it was released in 2000. I think the 7095 is far superior. Less prone to water damage, it doesn't matter which plugs you use. There is a new program. The pump power is visually displayed with an LED bar display. The moonlight is pretty neat since it actually has a full lunar simulation and the finer adjustment for all interval based modes is nice too. I think the $50 is trivial in light of all the improvements .

What can u tell us about the moonlight option. Is it possible to plug more than one LED, how powerful is the one shipped with the 7095?

It only has 1 LED. I think people are confusing moonlight with nighttime illumination when they want more. The single LED lights a 1ft square area. It is sufficient for a moonlight feature but not excessive. Proportional to the metal halides we use this is equivalent to moonlight in intensity and like moonlight animals can escape it to total darkness to sleep.
