Hi Roger

Im from the uk & have a problem with 1 of my pumps. I recentley had a pump stop so when i went to clean this & found the shaft had come loose from the motor. I have since had this replaced for a new unit, However after a couple of hrs the pump stopped. I checked the unit & couldnt see no problems, powered up & all was well again. However i have since noticed that the pump is on full power all the time. I have tryed swapping the conncetion leads over with the over pump & changing to another channel. When i return the power to the pump it runs fine on all settings for about 15min then stays on full power.

In general I would believe the most likely culprit to be the controller cable, it could either have a break or bad contact due to some corrosion or not being fully inserted. A motor issue is also possible but I would largely rule out the controller if another pump is working fine on it.

Hi Roger thanks for getting back to us. It cant have been the cable as i tryed this cable on the other pump & that run fine. Anyhow the only thing left to try was to turn off both pumps & kill the power to the controller. I left them off for a good 30 to 40min & this seems to have cured the problem as both pumps as running correctly for the last 24hrs.
